MEALS ON THE GO
(Time Management)

Objective: Empower the customer to make the right choices in a variety of restaurant settings including the lunch box to improve blood sugar, blood pressure, blood cholesterol and body weight for better life quality.

Scope of Class: We start with a review on time management concepts and eating for stress and fatigue and some effective ways to deal with stress and worry. The discussion continues with ideas to make better choices when dining out in order to limit overall extra sugar, sodium and fat. We review correct portion sizes compared to restaurant portion sizes. We also learn how to pack a healthy lunch. The class closes with knowledge on a simple change process and how to keep a journal to document progress in lifestyle change.

Presentation Format: Power Point with corresponding handouts. Length: Approximately 45 min to 1 hour.
