It seems that the word "stress" could be the most used word today. Experts tell us that a majority of health issues, and therefore doctor's visits, are related to stress. Even though stress is the body's natural physical and mental response to a challenge or demand, when it becomes chronic or long-term, it has the potential to lead to serious physical and mental health problems.
BeWell365 has an excellent class on stress called Stress Busting 101, not to mention blogs and YouTube videos on various subjects involving different stressors. Just enter "stress" in our web site search in the top banner or search our YouTube channel (@BeWell365) for our stress videos.
I wanted to create a short blog today to bring your attention to a fantastic article I read by Adam Dietz, PhD, a philosopher-writer, broadcaster, and podcaster who is focused on wisdom as a lived practice. The article is, 9 Confucian Rules for Emotional Intelligence at Work. It is about the great Chinese philosopher Confucius who offers a durable and practical blueprint for harmonizing with work colleagues.
As a side note, Adam's books include Original Confucianism, and he can be followed at The Way Between on Substack. Enjoy!
